Troubleshooting
Last updated: February 10, 2026
If you are experiencing issues while watching an event, the following guide covers the most common problems and how to resolve them.
You can test your device and browser compatibility at any time using our 24/7 compatibility test page.
Common issues
No sound
First, make sure your device is not muted. If the volume is already turned up, check the video player’s own audio controls — these appear when you hover over the video.
If you are using headphones or an external speaker, verify that the correct audio output device is selected in your system settings.
Sound is echoing
This usually happens when the same event is open in more than one browser tab or window. Make sure the event page is open in only one tab.
If the echo persists, try reloading the page.
Video or audio keeps cutting out
This is typically caused by a slow or congested network connection. Try the following:
- Close other bandwidth-heavy applications (e.g. streaming services, large downloads, or video calls).
- If you are using a VPN, try disconnecting it or switching to a different network — some VPN configurations can interfere with video streaming.
- Switch from Wi-Fi to a wired connection if possible.
Browser crashes when the stream starts
This is rare, but it can happen. To resolve it:
- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
- Close and reopen the browser.
- Navigate back to the event page.
If the issue continues, try using a different browser.
Presentation slides are not updating
Slides may occasionally take a moment to change during a live presentation. If they appear stuck, perform a hard reload:
- Windows:
Ctrl + F5 - Mac:
Cmd + R - Linux:
F5
Being asked to register again
Registration data is stored in your browser’s cookies. If you are asked to register again, it is likely because:
- Cookies have been cleared or are blocked in your browser settings.
- JavaScript is disabled.
- You are using a different browser or device than the one you originally registered with.
Make sure cookies and JavaScript are enabled, and use the same browser and device you registered with.
